SURPRISE FIELDTRIP!

Back to the farm again, this time to plant cabbage! I don't mind field trips at all, they're most always a fun break and it's the only time we can wear shorts to work. This one was a little different because no one bothered to tell us 3 foreign teachers that it even existed so I came to work Monday morning in my finest black-on-black attire and learned that we'd be heading out in the 85+ degree heat to a farm. Ah well, load em up!

Above, I captured the exact moment co-worker Tyler was told about the trip. Below, Ajin showing off her glitter "French Cat" visor.

We had to wait for one of the pre-schoolers to use the bath room. In the mean time (I found out shortly after this picture) a man who was our bus driver decided to clean the bus. All I saw was a man against a window.

Usually there are a few other kindergartens there with farm plots. This time we had it all to ourselves, below the kids roaming around the cages of animals.

"Teacher! caterpillar!" When you are 5 years old and you spend five+ hours a day at an in-door kindergarten, as you can tell by Julia's expression, a caterpillar is a big deal.

I forgot to take pictures during the actual planting, sorry, instead we all just hung out at the farm for another 45 minute. Here are some kids kicking it.

Be looking out for the harvesting of the cabbage soon!

As has been the trend lately, here is a picture from later in the day on Monday featuring Sam The Main Event, doing his impression of the The Sticker Monster. I tried to stop him, but sometimes you just gotta sticker monster, ya know?
